Go On, Beat The Drum

I know, I know, there's not been many sporting posts on the this fascinating mind blog lately and that's because I've been babysitting. So here's a fishing infovideo to set the record straight.

When my son, the Cadet (potential) saw it,  he said, "You look younger, Guv'nor." Such, readers, is the magic of fishing.

Tight lines,

You clearly beat the drum, but you need to have the cadet do the filming for future editions of Fishing with LSP. (I know, everyone wants to be an editor)

Peter, James and John were fishermen, after all. But I don't know if THEY every beat the drum. You may be one up on them.

That Drum put up a decent fight, LL. Nice. But yes, definitely need a cameraman...

But Adrienne, that's the magic of fishing.

Okay - I will admit to fishing quite a bit when I was a wee one. Nothing fancy. My mom outfitted us with bamboo poles (no lie) and I had a little red and white bobber thingy on my line. I'll always remember the excitement when the bobber actually bobbed. I did however have to have someone else put the minnow on my hook. For heaven's sake - that minnow was alive. It's not in my DNA to put a live anything on a hook.

Bamboo poles? That's pretty sweet!
